About Kasos Tours

Kasos Tours is a company operating, established and existing under the laws of Greece. Its principal place of business is Kasos, Dodecanese.

 

Payment Policy

  • To reserve a spot on Kasos Tours, a non-refundable booking fee is required.

  • The full payment (due amount) can be paid on tour completion.

The experience prices are charged per person and DO NOT include flights.

COVID-19 SPECIFICATION

New bookings made between March 2021 and May 30th 2021, are fully refundable until May 30th 2021 to offer flexibility on travel planning.

 

Kasos Tours Cancellations

‘‘Cancellation’’ is defined as not attending your booked tour. ‘‘You’’ refers to the guest booking an experience from Kasos Tours. ‘‘We’’ refers to Kasos Tours. It is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policy before making a booking.

 

Guest Cancellation Policy

Depending on when you cancel, cancellation fees may apply.

  • The booking fee is non refundable.

  • If cancellation takes place more than thirty (30) days prior to the tour date, then any payments made will be refunded minus your deposit.

  • If cancellation takes place less than thirty (30) days prior to the tour date, then 100% of your tour price will be forfeited.

Due to our need to commit to relevant arrangements in advance, exceptions to our policy cannot be made for any reason.

We do not offer credit for arriving late or leaving early.

COVID-19 SPECIFICATION

In case travel restrictions are applied to the guests’ country of residence at the time of the tour, and the guest is restricted from joining the tour, the guest shall receive a voucher* equal to the full amount paid and valid for 1 year.

*Voucher specifications:

  • Valid for one (1) year

  • Transferrable to a friend

  • Voucher can be applied towards any other Kasos Tour experience of your choice, subject to availability

Kasos Tours Cancellation Policy

Kasos Tours always caters for the best of its guests and canceling a tour will always be the very last option. However, if Kasos Tours must cancel a scheduled tour due to low participation, you’re entitled to transfer your full payment to another tour experience or request a refund of your payment.

Kasos Tours is not responsible for your expenses incurred in preparation for any cancelled tour, such as other accommodation, airline tickets, loss of work, and/or other costs associated with preparing for your trip.

 

Force Majeure

Kasos Tours shall not be responsible for not fulfilling its contractual obligations to the extent that the failure to fulfill is due to events outside its control, that is, force majeure events such as a pandemic, acts of God, fire, flood, cancellation of flights or/and prohibition of sailing due to adverse weather conditions, war, acts of terrorism, riot, civil commotion, governmental actions (excluding regulatory change), labour disputes, and any similar events. In such force majeure events, no refund shall be granted and all payments will be credited in the form of a voucher* valid for one (1) year.

Reservation of Rights

Kasos Tours reserves the right to make any changes deemed necessary to our tours.

 

Travel Insurance

Guests must have adequate travel insurance to cover the tour activities.

Please note, even if you have private health insurance in Greece or your respective country of residence, it is unlikely that this insurance will cover overseas trips.

It is your responsibility to organize suitable travel and health insurance. Although we strongly encourage you to do so, you acknowledge that Kasos Tours is not in the business of providing insurance products and cannot be held liable if your failure to arrange suitable insurance coverage leaves you exposed, medically, financially or otherwise.

 

Passports, Visas and Documents

It is the responsibility of each participant to obtain a valid passport, visa(s) and necessary certificates for any country to be visited in connection with Kasos Tours.

General Waiver – Limitation of Liability

You acknowledge that during a retreat you participate voluntarily in any and all activities arranged by Kasos Tours, and insofar as legally permissible, surrender your right to any cause of action against Kasos Tours arising from any loss or damage to person or property that occurs during an experience.

You hereby agree to be responsible for your own welfare and accept any and all risks of delay, unanticipated events, inconvenience, illness, injury, emotional trauma or death.

You hereby certify that you are physically fit and have not been advised to not participate, by any means or in any manner, in any such activity arranged by the retreat hosts by a qualified medical professional. You hereby certify that there are no health-related reasons or problems which preclude your participation in any and all activities arranged by Kasos Tours.

You hereby waive, release and discharge from and against any and all liability from your participation in the trip and  in any and all activities arranged by Kasos Tours, including but not limited to, liability arising from the negligence or fault of Kasos Tours and/or its employees and/or its collaborators and/or its subcontractors, for your death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft, or actions of any kind which may hereafter occur to you including your trip to and from activities arranged by Kasos Tours,

You agree that this release shall be legally binding upon you personally and all members of your family.

Changes to our Terms & Policy

We keep the present Terms and Conditions under regular review and we reserve the right to amend or update the present Terms and Conditions at any time. The effective date is displayed hereunder. Thus, we advise you to review this page periodically for any changes. To keep you informed of any changes to the present Terms and Booking Policy, we will notify you by prominently posting the new Terms and Booking Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on our website at www.kasostours.com

 

Disputes & Applicable Law

Kasos Tours and Guests shall make every effort, so that any difference, dispute or disagreement that may arise during the conclusion, interpretation and execution of the present Terms & Booking Policy, as well as claims related to them, is resolved out of court, with negotiations in a spirit of good faith within reasonable time after the date of the written expression of the disagreement by any of the parties.

If a difference is not resolved in this way, competent for its judicial resolution shall be the Courts of Greece exclusively, which shall decide on any trials regarding the execution and the Greek law shall apply.

 

By booking into a Kasos Tours experience you hereby certify that you have read and fully understood the present Terms & Booking Policy, and you are fully aware that there is a release of liability included, you accept all Terms & Booking Policy and you agree of your own free will to all Terms & Booking Policy and applicable policies above. If you do not agree to the aforementioned Terms & Booking Policy, you are not permitted to participate in any Kasos Tours experience.
